Where do the students eat?

It is a well-known fact that we also eat (from time to time). Sometimes, the lectures become overwhelming. Time slows its pace. The refrigerator from the student dorm is empty and the food supplies from home are late to appear. You start asking yourself “Where could I serve a well-cooked meal without emptying my pocket?” Well, we have some recommandations for you. There are two locations in our university Hollywood where you can fill your belly and socialize with your colleagues.

Moxa Cafeteria – 11 Mihail Moxa Street

The best-known place in our university, this cafeteria is located near Moxa Dormitory and it is open for students, teachers and auxiliary stuff. Those who live at Moxa may consider themselves lucky, but if you aren’t in their situation, you can get there in only 15 minutes of walking from the university. They have a lot of different food on the menu, so you’ll never get bored when eating there. With only 10 lei you can serve two main dishes, a dessert and a water. However, you must be very patient because the queue is pretty long and don’t forget your student ID, because you’ll need it.

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday: lunch from 12:00 to 16:00, dinner from 17:00 to 19:00
  • Saturday: from 12:00 to 16:00

Cihoschi Cafeteria – Stanislav Cihoschi building

This is an alternative closer to cybernetics’ building, but it is a little bit smaller and the teachers have priority. A complete meal does not excced, however, 15 lei, and the menu is different every day. We assure you that the food here tastes exactly like the one your mom cooks. You can invite your best friends and enjoy a great time together while filling your appetite.

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday: from 12:30 to 15:00

Where do we study, read and borrow books?

There will be moments when you’ll look for a quiet place to study, to revise for an exam or to make your homework. It seems impossible but you will, at least once in a lifetime, open the door of the study hall. Inside there you will find lots of books to study from and a couple of computers to help you with your projects. Here are some suggestions:

Registrar’s office and cashiers

I’m sure you’re asking who will solve your problems now, who will give you different certifications when needed and where do you go when you have a problem. The answer is simple: the registrar’s office. You just have to be patient and polite and there will always be someone to help you. This magic office is located at the ground floor of Virgil Madgearu building, room 2011.

Little advice: Don’t waste your time if you just want a student attestation. All you have to do is write your identification data in a register.
